Troubleshooting and Repairing of most Video Game Monitor Problems
Video Games requiring monitor troubleshooting or repairs must be brought to our repair shop or arrangements made for pick-up. Only limited diagnosis of a problematic monitor can be performed as a home service. Services include repair on both X-Y Vector (For example and not limited to- Tempest, Black Widow, Star Wars & Star Trek) and Raster Video Monitors (For example and not limited to- Pacman, Ms. Pacman, Galaga, Donkey Kong). We only service Coin Op Video Arcade Monitors Only, no Televisions. We can test and repair the High Voltage, Vertical/Horizontal Deflection, and Video Synchronization sections.

Note- Replacement of major monitor components (flyback transformers, control pots, power transistors, CRT (picture tube replacement) will increase the final cost of a monitor repair.

A quick note about Estimates.

It is impossible to give exact Estimates for both parts and labor to repair your machine without examining it in person. I am very particular in my repairs and will repair all issues that I find so that your machine runs reliably, I do not perform 'quick fixes.' In addition, it is not possible to give an accurate estimate based on a customer’s opinion as to what the problem is with their machine. The amount of time for labor and parts of an on-site repair varies based on the type of work required and the amount of time needed to complete said repair.

When requesting a quote/repair, always describe the full condition of your machine when talking with us. Occasionally we cannot reliably repair a game that is older (due to replacement parts that are no longer available), lack of proper maintenance, not being properly maintained or was not stored in a climate controlled area area(outdoors, in a garage, or shed), or suffers from long term non-use. We reserve the right to refuse repairing any bio-hazardous games that formerly contained to work on all bio hazardous games containing former rodents and their droppings.

We offer a competitive hourly rate for on-site (home or business) service. Our hourly rate applies to time spent working on your game. Parts and supplies are additional. We are available by appointment. Our business hours are 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM EST, and we are open 7 days a week for your convenience.

On-site Service (*0-25 miles from Pelham, NH) $115/hr (plus parts)
On-site Service (*26-50 miles from Pelham, NH) $125/hr (plus parts)
On-site Service (**51+ miles from Pelham, NH) $150/hr (plus parts)
Drop-offs & pick-ups at our shop are always welcome by appointment only
Shop Rate $95/hr (plus parts)

*$50 Travel/Tolls/Gas charge will be added per visit.
**$100 Travel/Tolls/Gas charge will be added per visit.
We are a taxable business in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. We are required by law to collect Massachusetts state tax (6.25%) for all parts and machines sold in Massachusetts.

Service and repair work can be done in our shop if needed or required, or we can make a service call to your location if you are within our local service area. Our rates apply to any time spent working on your machine(s). If a machine has previously been well maintained, a typical service call may only take an hour. Unfortunately there are cases where it can take more than one trip to repair a machine. Since it is impossible to have every part for every machine in stock and with us, the first trip is usually to diagnose the problem and order parts. The second trip is usually to install the new parts.

MY ARCADE REPAIR SERVICE AREA
Our normal service area covers up to 50 miles from the Pelham (Nashua/Salem) NH area. Additional fees and certain restrictions apply for any work done outside this area.

MY GAME STORAGE POLICY
Our storage policies on games that have been restored, repaired, purchased (either pre-paid for or have a deposit), is as follows:
After being contacted that your repair has been completed, the game will be subjected to a charge of $50 per game per week if left at our shop for more than 7 days. Games will be considered “Abandoned” after 30 days; we are not responsible for any games that are “Abandoned.”
Games left or stored at the shop for more than 30 days will become the property of My Arcade Repair. All “Abandoned” games will be sold to cover any/all repair, service, and/or storage costs per NH RSA Laws. Any pre-payments and/or deposits received will not be refunded and are forfeited along with the game. No payments will be made to the original owner for said game. If the game has not been sold, and the original owner returns to claim the game, the owner can pay in cash any outstanding repair and/or storage costs ($50 per week) from the original contact date.
